Cold-Crusher
Makes 2 servings
- 1 apple, quartered
- 1 pear, quartered
- 1 c. fresh or frozen blueberry
- 1 c. orange juice
- 1/2 c. goji berries, soaked in an immune-boosting herbal tea
- 1 tbsp acai powder
- 1 tsp spirulina
- half head of romaine, spinach, or dandelion greens
Pears are very high in Vitamin C, but most of it is in their peel, so leave the skin on and buy organic. This smoothie contains lots of antioxidants and immune boosters. Actually I think I'll keep some herbal immunity tea in the fridge to add to all my smoothies the next few weeks.
